I’ve been screwing around in the crypto markets since 2022. Like most people, I started with a standard "buy and hold" strategy. It's a great theory, but watching your portfolio bleed out and holding idle bags during a long bear market gets old fast.

The Shift to Automation

Coming from an IT background, I’m naturally inclined to let systems do the heavy lifting. I’ve spent my career managing complex networks and building automation workflows, so applying that logic to my portfolio was the next evolution.

My first attempt was a headache. I tried setting up automated trades using Coinrule, but the interface was so incredibly confusing that the whole experiment just fizzled out. I shelved the idea and walked away from bots for a while. But the crypto market doesn't sleep, and eventually, I realized I needed my capital working for me, not just sitting there.

The Current Stack

I retooled and built a much more streamlined system focused strictly on execution. Today, I rely on three primary automated strategies running through Binance.US and 3Commas:

  • The SOL Grid: Built to continuously scalp profits out of sideways market chop.
  • The Sniper: Sitting quietly, waiting to execute only when highly specific entry conditions are met.
  • The DCA (The Pepe Hammer): Engineered with optimized safety orders to average down during market dumps and sell the bounce.

The Elephant in the Room: AI

Let's address this upfront: I use AI to help me build this site. I use it as a writing tool to manage a learning disability and ensure my logs are coherent, and I use it to generate the artwork for the comic strips. But make no mistake—behind every generated image and edited paragraph, there is a real human making the calls and risking real capital.

The Comic Strip

To break up the dry technical logs, I am putting together a comic strip. The crypto market is absurd, and the best way to process it is visually. Expect to see The Pepe Hammer comic integrated into the site, featuring AI-generated art.
